Each week we feature an adoptable animal from the Adams County Humane Society. The goal of ACHS is to find loving, forever homes for every animal in our facility. They will work with you to find the right match for each animal and your family.
Follow These Steps to Adopt
1. Talk about adopting a new pet with all members of your household to confirm that everyone is on board.
2. If you rent talk to your landlord to make sure you understand their pet policies. We will call them to verify before you can adopt.
3. Preview adoptable animals on our website. Prepare questions to ask about the animals you want to meet. Call us at 608-339-6700 to schedule a time to meet with the animals you are interested in.
4. Go to the Adams County Humane Society website and complete/submit an adoption application online.

sam
Sam & Max came in around early December. They are both sweet & get along with other kitties.
The adoption fee for either one of these sweethearts is $90, but it would only be $135 to take both of them home together!

Hendricks
Hendricks is the last of his litter of 8 mutt puppies to still be waiting for adoption. He is very calm, but he loves to play and gets along well with other dogs.
Hendricks' adoption fee is $375.
Sully
Sully is 3 years old and was surrendered around the end of November. We jokingly refer to her as the supermodel because she is all legs. She's super unique. Sully's adoption fee is $75.

Dozer
Dozer is a 5-year-old mixed breed with lots of personality. He is good with cats and other well-behaved dogs, but can be on the shy side when meeting new people.
Dozer's adoption fee is $250

enzo
Enzo came to us from a rescue! He's a very loving senior boy with the sweetest, chubbiest cheeks ever. He is pretty serious about his treats and snacks and does well with other kitties. His adoption fee is only $25

gAGE
Gage is an 83 lb black lab who was surrendered a month ago in the hopes that he would find an adopter who can teach him. He is eager to learn and both treat- and toy-motivated. His adoption fee is $250.

gigi
Gigi came in back in mid-May. She's a 2 and a half year old cutie pie. Unfortunately, she is very comfortable with her kennel and isn't a huge fan of leaving it. Her adoption fee is $50 and she would do best in a home with no other animals!
humphrey
Humphrey is a 15-lb Poshie who was a stray. He's about 3 years of age with the energy of a puppy. He loves to play and loves other dogs. He is working on leash training.
Humphrey's adoption fee is $250.00

Wiley
Wiley is an 8-year-old snugglebug rescued just last month. He has been shaved as he had developed some mats in his long coat. He loves to cuddle and adores belly rubs!
Wiley's adoption fee is only $25

Oliver
This week, we'd like to promote Oliver! He loves little scratches on his head and gentle full-body pets. He also gets along great with other kitties! His adoption fee is only $50!

Here is their only bonded pair - August and September!
These 4-month-old cuties were surrendered in mid-September.
It costs nothing to take this precious pair home since their adoption fees have been sponsored!
